Congratulations to the nearly 1200 racers that participated in the second Great Urban Race Washington, D.C.! This was officially the largest Great Urban Race!
Participants began in the Adams Morgan neighborhood and navigated through the streets of D.C. completing a variety of crazy activities! Racers practiced their right hook at LA Boxing on 24th Street, paddled around the Tidal Basin Paddle Boats, tested their brewery knowledge at McFadden’s, found Nemo and Dory at the National Aquarium, fed each other cookies at Marvelous Market, and many more fun challenges!
A special thanks to everyone who made donations to supplies to N Street Village. They truly appreciated your donations!
Justin Nunez and Pat O’Donnell of team Now You Know 2.0 came bolting through the finish line in an astounding time of 1:36! Great race guys! Wess Brooker and Horacio Sierra of Electro/Clash crossed the finish at 1:40 followed by Whitney Satin and Anthony Valente of Snookin’ for Change at 1:51 to round out our Top Three.
