Why did you have fun participating in The Great Urban Race?
This was our first time to participate. We worked together with another group of friends so there were four of us, which made for a lot of laughs.
How do you know each other?
We worked together in a combat zone. : ) we are both teachers.
What’s your favorite part about participating in The Great Urban Race?
The chaos of trying to figure everything out. And of course when we were not in the greatest part of town and the two loose dogs decided to join our team for a bit.

It was the most fun race I have ever done.

We’ll be returning to the Live Music Capital of the World again in 2009! Teams will find checkpoints, complete challenges and navigate the streets of areas like Clarksville, Hyde Park and Downtown.

In the event of a Disaster including hurricanes, tornadoes, terrorism, etc. the race director and The Great Urban Race staff will decide whether or not to cancel the event based on the safety of participants and staff. Participants will NOT receive refunds in the event of a Disaster, but will have the option to transfer registration to a different 2009 city (Championship not included). Every participant accepts the risk of his or her entry.
