A Look At Our 2012 Race

More than 1,300 Masterminds ran GUR Chicago 2012 sporting amazing costumes and seeking adventure!  Participants ran the streets of Chicago, challenging their bodies and brains by partaking in 12 crazy activities including solving a difficult tangram puzzle and kayaking the Chicago River. Get ready to see a whole different side of Chicago in 2013 with even crazier challenges and brainteasers.  Are you ready to test your city limits?

Disaster Policy

In the event of a Disaster including hurricanes, tornadoes, terrorism, etc. the race director and The Great Urban Race staff will decide whether or not to cancel the event based on the safety of participants and staff.
