A Look At Our 2012 Race

In 2012, 700 Masterminds hit the pavement in Houston and worked with their team to tackle 12 wild challenges. Participants navigated the streets and completed in a variety of crazy activities ranging from learning how operate a Segway, to kayaking blindfolded, to getting up close and personal with a slithering reptile. 2013 participants better bring their A-game because last year, Team SRSS crossed the finish line with an amazing time of 1:37:00, winning them the first place title and the $300 giant check. Disaster Policy

In the event of a Disaster including hurricanes, tornadoes, terrorism, etc. the race director and The Great Urban Race staff will decide whether or not to cancel the event based on the safety of participants and staff.
