"Bill Wilson Center's vision is to prevent poverty by connecting youth and families to employment, housing, education and healthy relationships. With a focus on youth ages 12-25 who are in foster care, homeless, exiting juvenile justice, parenting or in dysfunctional families, the agency provides a wide range of services to support these youth as they learn to become self-sufficient and successful in their lives. Services include counseling, housing, and skill-building. The agency also advocates for systems change, especially in the foster care and juvenile justice systems."

Congratulations to all participants who made Great Urban Race San Jose such a huge success! 219 racers came out to The Old Spaghetti Factory seeking adventure and wearing creative costumes.
Participants navigated through the streets of San Jose and completed a variety of unique activities, from learning how to make a pinch pot at Higher Fire Clayspace & Gallery, to tossing corks at J. Lohr Vineyard, experiencing awesome exhibits at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art and tasting yummy donut holes at Pyscho Donuts!
A special thanks to everyone who donated much needed supplies to Bill Wilson Center. Your donations made a huge difference for youth and families in need throughout Santa Clara County. They truly appreciate your efforts!

The costume contest was full of great costumes and the audience enjoyed a show from all of our Best Costume nominees. After an intense clap-off between some awesome costumes, Girls a Cookin’ +2 took yet another prize! Thanks to everyone who dressed in costume and added to the spirit of the day.
Thank you to our St. Jude volunteers, Bill Wilson Center, Old Spaghetti Factory staff, our clue locations and all of our phenomenal participants. The GUR Crew had an amazing time and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!
