Congratulations to all of the participants who made Great Urban Race Indinapolis such a huge success!  Nearly 200 races came out to Rathskellar seeking adventure and wearing lots of creative costumes.

Participants battled the head and navigated the streets of Indianapolis, completing several crazy challenges along the way including kayaking in the canal, shooting hoops at Conseco, making jewelry at Heirloom Classics, and eating baklava at Santorini.

A special thanks to everyone who donated much needed supplies to the Kid’s Peace.  The donations made a huge difference to families in need and they truly appreciate your efforts!

At first place Ebony and Ivory came dashing through the finish line with an astounding time of 2:07Laces Out came in a very close second place, crossing the finish line at 2:10.  Happy Hunters locked in third place with a time of 2:19 to round out our Top Three.  These teams also receive a free entry to the New Orleans Championship where they will compete for the $10,000 prize!

A big thank you to our St. Jude fundraising winner and Challenge Winner Red, White, and Awesome!  As the fundraising winners, they are also eligible to compete in the New Orleans Championship.

Congratulations to our Top Family Team, Team Nike, who also crossed the finish line in the top 25, qualifying them for the National Championship!

The costume contest was full of great costumes and the audience enjoyed a show from all of our Best Costume Nominees.  After an intense clap-off between some awesome costumes, Bats to Barns won the prize with their Jamaican Bobsled costume! Thanks to everyone who dressed in costume and added to the spirit of the day.

Thank you to our St. Jude volunteers, Kid’s Peace, Rathskellar staff, our clue locations and all of our phenomenal participants.  The GUR crew had an amazing time and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
