Thank you to the enthusiastic Philly participants!

With beautiful weather and creative costumes on display, racers encountered several difficult clues ranging from a secret hidden container in a park to a hidden Elvis, with an obstacle course and a hoagie in between.

A big thanks to Jeff, Jonathan, and Barbara at The National at Old City!

Team Club Edventures crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 1:43.

The Saurkrauts and Team Edwards finished 2nd and 3rd, both in 1:52, respectively.

Best Costume went to Franlin's Foxes and Shrubbery Seekers:

Hustlin Huies won Best Overall Photos:

The top family team was Leifboy:

And a special mention for the five teams named Crown Royal who embodied the spirit of The Great Urban Race!  Fifteen minutes after the awards ceremony they came sprinting to the finish yelling, laughing, and claiming they got their money's worth because they spent the most time on the fun course.

Champion's Interview (Club Edventures):

What was your overall race strategy?

To win!  The first urge is to start running, but taking the time to carefully map out our course proved to be the difference.

Did you study anything before the race?  If so, what?

Not really, but we had out support (phone) team bookmark key Philadelphia websites.

Did you have any arguments?

Yes!  No!  Yes!

Any secrets for your success you want to share?

No, but it's always good to bring bribe money (for people on the course - not officials)...not that we did that.  This time.
