Congratulations to the 375 racers that came out to participate in Great Urban Race Philadelphia!  It was an awesome day, complete with what turns out to be good weather and lots of creative costumes!

Participants navigated the streets of Philadelphia and completed a variety of exciting activities!  Participants completed a challenging fitness session with Relentless Fitness, crafted up their own comedic jokes for 1812 Productions, and got to recite their own versions of Tennessee William's play Rose Tattoo with quite silly accents!

A special thank you to everyone who donated much needed food goods to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.  Your donations made a huge difference and they truly appreciate your efforts!

The first place team was Vignette with an astounding time of 1:35!  Clubedventure crossed the finish line at 1:45 followed closely by Holy Cows with a time of 2:01 to round out our top three.

Congratulations to Choo Chee On Fire, our Top Family Team, who crossed the finish line at a time of 3:02.   Great job!

After an intense clap-off between some outstanding costumes, the Costume Contest was won by the Gods and Goddesses, who stole the show with their fantastic costumes.  Thanks to everyone who dressed in costume and added to the spirit of the day!

A huge thank you to our St. Jude Top Fundraisers, The Dark Knights!  Together all of our Philadelphia St. Jude Heroes raised an amazing total of $7,175.02

Thank you to all of our St. Jude volunteers, Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, our clue locations and all of our phenomenal participants.  The GUR crew had an amazing time in Philadelphia and we look forward to returning in 2012!
