Congratulations to all participants who made Great Urban Race Orlando such a huge success! A little (or a lot) of rain couldn't keep 150 racers from a fun filled day of adventure.

Participants navigated through the streets of Orlando and completed a variety of unique activities, including charades at the Orange County Library, decorating cookies at Cookies by Design, golfing blindfolded at Pirate's Cove and much more!

A special thanks to everyone who donated much needed supplies to The Mustard Seed of Central Florida. Your donations helped to rebuild the lives of local families. They truly appreciate your efforts!

In first place, Seminoles came dashing through the finish line with a time of 3:11:01! Life is Good came in second, crossing the finish line at 3:11:02! European Street came in just a hair behind with a time of 3:12:01 to round out our Top Three. These teams also receive a free entry to the New Orleans Championship where they will compete for the $10,000 prize! Also a big congratulations to our Top Family Team, The Grizzwalds!

A big thank you to our St. Jude Fundraising Winner as well as St. Jude Challenge winner, the Theisen's! As the winner, they are also eligible to compete in the New Orleans Championship.

The costume contest was full of great costumes and the audience enjoyed a show from all of our Best Costume nominees. After an intense clap-off between some awesome costumes, Grannies Gone Wild won the crowd over! Thanks to everyone who dressed in costume and added to the spirit of the day.

Thank you to our St. Jude volunteers, Chipotle, The Mustard Seed, our clue locations and all of our phenomenal participants. The GUR Crew had an amazing time!

Have you ever participated in a GUR before?	No, it was our first time!
How did you prepare for the race?	No prep we pre-bought trolly tickets and had Lynx maps and ponchos!
What was your overall race strategy?	We answered the clues first, then worked as a group of four!
Did anything go wrong during the race?	We thought we missed a trolly so we took the Lynx to the finish line. It worked out for us! :)
What was your favorite clue? Why?	Gold's Gym that was lots of fun!
